Sounds like you have a much better gig than I do Jake! I'm doing a
private party at a private club, probably less than 100 people. When
we booked this it was supposed to be a huge bash with several
hundred people, 2 bands, big PA, and a lot of fun. It gradually was
pared down to what will become background music. The good thing is
we only play 1 set as they want our guitars to play an acoustic duo
for an hour. I'm taking the bare minimum rig- Electro, Barbetta,
misc. requirements like gig bag, stands, and stool. Leaving the
Leslie, rack with the reverbs and Speakeasy, and Nord Lead 2 at
home. We'll be one step above the busboy tonight and although the
money is good the motivation level is low!
