I'll weigh in here too so Bruce doesn't have to take all the heat himself. I also get the digest format which sends one out either daily or whenever 25 messages have accululated. There have been days when at more 3 digests come out. My usual reaction is "Oh (expletive deleted). I gotta wade through another one". None of us want to stifle free speech, and the occasional funny comment on a previous post is ok, but when it gets to everyone trying to outdo the previous bon mot it does increase the S/N ratio too much. That's when a seperate list would need to be created for clever responses. Sorry to be the cranky old-guy who keeps coming out with the admonitions to the group (speaking of which, heres my monthly "would you please not copy the whole #@~^&>$ previos post, which contain the previous 3 posts to just add one new line of text" reminder), but Bruce does have a valid point here. It's very time consuming & I'm sure with today's rushed society time is something we all need to budget wisely. Thanks
