That song, along with the other early Deep Purple and Vanilla Fudge

Thanks for posting that link! I wish all these references to specific
songs and players could be "linked" like that so we could all hear
and understand the techniqes being discussed.

I cranked it up on the Real Player, and continued to read the thread.
Literally the minute I read David Jacques's reply about the windmill
chops at the end of the solo - thats where I was in the song!

Woo, sounds like a death ray gun from a sci fi movie or something!
What do you all reckon, 888888888 or so?
