Subject:Wurlitzer solo

Best Wurlitzer solo I ever saw/heard was at a Jesse Colin Young and
the Youngbloods outdoor concert. After they played some of their
most popular songs including from the then-current Elephant Mountain
album, the other guys eased off to the side and --> keyboard player
moved an original (Ray Charles model) wooden zolotone-painted
Wurlitzer out near the middle of the stage. He started playing nice
and easy through the bass stacks and worked up to a terrific blues
and jazz jam all by himself for about 15-20 minutes. The crowd went
nuts = standing ovation. It was memorable - wish there was a
recording. Wj
