Mark was the absolute biggest rock organ influence on me when I first
got a Hammond. There were very few others in rock at that time
playing the inventive riffs and registrations that he was. His
Hammond lines were front and center of every song they did.

I used to dance madly around my bedroom playing air drums, guitar,
bass, and organ to Break Song. Man, what a killer organ tone he had
on that record. I have heard that he was using 4 Leslies, which might
have something to do with it!

Vanilla Fudge of that era is sublime, basically all four guys soloing
at once while teetering on the edge of total chaos.
