Subject:Tapping Into Leslie 860 with Hi Fi Tube Preamp?

This is a follow up to a post I sent about a month ago. I recently discovered
that an Eico stereo preamp I have sounds great when used with my VK7 and a
leslie 900 - when I use an external power amp.
I am now interested in using this same
preamp with my leslie 860's stock power amp. I would want to use the switching
from my VK7( it uses 11 pin as does the 860) and bypass the send from the VK7's
preamp to the leslie's power amp.I would then go from the VK7 1/4 inch out ,
into the tube preamp and then into the 860 power amp. The 860 is bi -amped so
the preamp may need to be stereo (which it is).

Has anyone of you ever tried such a thing with a similar solid
state leslie?
