Subject:V5 pedal manual

Is the V5's pedal sound any different than its factory lower split
sound, which to me sounds like 888000000? I connected a third midi
keyboard through a merge box last year like the manual instructions.
It was at low volume in my front room, but I didn't hear a difference
then. I've used the V5's lower split a few times for bass, and it's
okay with some EQ, but not like pedal sound. Do any of the clones
have Hammond-type pedal tones onboard that could be played as left-
hand bass from a 2nd midi keyboard, or is a separate module the only
choice?
