OK, If you can't beat 'em join'em. Back in '74 when I had my first M-2 with Trek II percussion and Leslie 22 I hooked up a dimmer switch to the horn motor. I was warned that I could damage the motor. I HAD to play "A Whiter Shade of Pale" and "Sylvia " by Focus, etc. and the 22 would only brake or go fast. Anyway I lived to tell the tale and the motor didn't burn out. I sold the 22 and bought a brand new 122 and moved on. My story has nothing to do with dead horses or Germans bombing Pearl Harbor. Let's stick to our group subject guys and gals.
