Subject:Voce V5 w/88note controller

I'm having a hard time getting the V5 to sound good. While I
figured out how to match the note ranges between the P80 and the V5
(transposing the MIDI output up an octave) it's still pretty
unconvincing. It's clear to me that the main issue is a lack of left
hand/right hand differentiation.

I'm using a single 88note controller - a Yamaha P80, which has fairly
limited outbound MIDI capabilities.

The V5 has a 'split' function. But even with the split and different
drawbar settings, the notes sent by the left hand are going to sound
too low. Also, and I may have missed it, what drawbar settings are
used for the left hand section once the button is pressed?

I wondered if anyone else has driven a V5 or V3 using a single 88
note controller, and what you did to get the left hand/right hand
thing sounding better !
