Thanks Tony, seemed like some where hinting that folks should tiptoe
around the joint like if they were spotted sirens would go off..."Loose The
Dogs!!!!", "INTRUDER!, INTRUDER!!!!" My experiences were more like you described.
If some don't want to deal with the general public there are ways. Take
Gibson for example. Appointment and special invite only and I don't begrudge 'em
for that. Or, it's their choice to tell people to bugger off in a variety of
ways like that one unnamed booth I ran into. (Just be rude, act pompous and make
sure you don't spill your coffee.) Carvin seems to have the right idea. Had
Steve Vai and the like signing autographs. Joe Walsh drops by and chats with who
ever. I don't think that was for just the benefit of the other booths. Seemed
to me everybody was having a good time. I don't even think they had
alligators in the moat. OHF Bob
