I guess they might be different if you did have 6 of them on stage
but that shure is a pile of dough for a PA system. It's a lot of
stuff to move around as well.
For 10K I can buy one hell of a system complete with monitors and
amps that will blow that Bose sytem to bits.
I'm not impressed enough to spend that kind of money. I don't
believe you'll ever see them widely used. They're just not
practical.
Our singer hated them. The piezo pickups on the elcetric guitar
sounde pretty good. I sat right beside one of the towers.
Otherwise, the sound quality was awful.
We play fairly loud. they just wouldn't cut it at a high volume in a
fairly large room. We play some small rooms with decent sized PAs
and the Bose would be lost in those rooms.
