carelessness is not implied. murphy's law is what it is..anything that can
happen will and at the most inopportune time. the 1/4 phone plug idea would only
be safe from murphy's law if it had a locking female jack in which it can't
be unplugged by a misplaced foot or other such movements. hence the suggestion
by other posters that an xlr which locks, be used. some people get a kick out
of holding 120/220 just for grins, some people have heart attacks. understood
musicians get fried from touching mics and scaffolding. the horse may be dead
but it didn't give up the ghost.. happy holidays.....
