Hey there....Yes, I am bothered by this, and this is PRECISELY why I changed my onstage monitoring rig. I used to use 2way speakers (15 and either a 1" or 2" horn, depending on which pair I used) but when I let someone else play on my rig and went to the mix site, I was stunned at how hot my onstage level was. It didn't sound nearly that loud onstage, and that's what made me go to keyboard combo amps. And since the bands I play with use PA systems, it was counterproductive for me to be putting out that kind of signal from the stage as it kept the engineers from blending me with the rest of the band through the PA.
