after my first half moon cracked I made another switch out of a guitar toggle
switch, came from an old jazzmaster ( it handles 125 volts as is etched on
the switch) which I mounted in a car under-dashboard knob mount found in a parts
store. since its a three position switch it was perfect for my
chorale-off-tremelo set up on my B3. I find the throw is shorter and makes the motors kick
in or disengage faster. sort of like shift shorteners used in VWs. Footswitches
are good to have too but the switch nearby on the left by the lower manual
presets is the classic setup and more expressive.
