I find that the tripod stands take up too much real estate, especially for
a pair of speakers. I use the milk crate or upright bar chair at the
present time, but they do not pack well and I was looking for something
more visually appealing for the "expensive" gigs...BTW, on the Quik-Lok
WS-550, wouldn't you need a metal plate or something to support the base of
the speaker?
