I'm very familiar w/the KMS 1000 series - wrote the PC version of
ObjectMover. Ancient history time... there's a trick you can use if you're
using the same voice on more than one 1000 module, you tell it it's 1 of 2,
or 3, or whatever, and it will drop every other, or every third note, etc.
Make sure you don't have this turned on, it's REALLY annoying if it's the
only unit.
FWIW, I've never had any problems w/a 1000 series keeping up. Make sure
your effects are not too deep and that you're not stacking too many
voices - you can run out quickly. It's actually a 68000 running at a decent
speed, similar to Macs of that era.
