Hi; I used an Kurzweil SP76 "piano" to trigger the V5. When playing organ
and then hitting a switch to change to the internal Kurzweil sounds, sometimes
the V5 organ note would hang over. In such times I would press the panic
button on the Kurzweil which is supposed to cut off hanging notes. Oftentimes the
panic button would not work at cutting the note off. When in this situation,
I would shut the V5 off and then on again. I tried to avoid the hanging
notes by being tidy in making sure no notes were playing when I switched to
piano, but I guess I could never be tidy enough. Let me add that I do love the V5
for its sound, which I still use for pedals.
