I agree! I've been trying to work out the voicings for Grand Funk's
Footstompin' Music, and Rock & Roll soul for quite some time.

I know there's overdrive in there, certainly a percussion, 2d, 3d,
or lower, C2 or C3 chorus, and a fairly bright voicing.

But for the life of me, with 9 drawbars, and 8 possible settings for
each one that's 9 to the 8th possibilities far too many for trial
and error.

I fell into the trap of explaining voicings in the previous thread
as they relate to organ pipe voicings. Only a couple of months
later, after having gone through all 120 presets in my B4 I find
that the kickass voicing for the two songs above still elude me.

I'd say let's open the thread up again with a more "open"
less "soapboxy" attitude (mine included) and share what you know.
