I have also had problems with Sweetwater. They sent me a Barbetta Amp
that had a hum. I had to push to get them to take it back and get me a
new one. They initially wanted me to call Barbetta myself and deal with
the problem. After pushing them, they did take the amp back but I did
not get a new one for 3-4 weeks and it had a problem as well. To be
sure, part of the blame falls on Barbetta, but the customer service with
Sweetwater was not what it should have been and was 180 degrees to the
customer service at 8th Street which has always been great.

but great dealings w/him, but it could be that they've grown and you

I had a good experience with Music123.com - bought an MS KT80 for a 'C'
stock price - $380 - and after some hedging about the week long delay,
they
admitted they didn't have a 'C' item in stock and agreed to send me a
new
one for the same price. I could not get them to agree to 2day shipping
to
compensate for the delay, but I was happy with the deal.

Tony LaBrasca at BT Productions is another great person to deal with.
And of
course, there's Steve at Speakeasy. Although I've never purchased
anything
directly from Motion Sound, I've found John Fisher to be very
accomodating
in helping w/tech mods to his company's gear.
