Subject:Quality Vendors (was 8th Street Beat)

I read about your experience w/8th street and thought about how rare it is
that someone does The Right Thing. I was surprised that you had a bad
experience w/Sweetwater, as I remember Chuck from way back and had nothing
but great dealings w/him, but it could be that they've grown and you were
not dealing with Chuck.

I had a good experience with Music123.com - bought an MS KT80 for a 'C'
stock price - $380 - and after some hedging about the week long delay, they
admitted they didn't have a 'C' item in stock and agreed to send me a new
one for the same price. I could not get them to agree to 2day shipping to
compensate for the delay, but I was happy with the deal.

Tony LaBrasca at BT Productions is another great person to deal with. And of
course, there's Steve at Speakeasy. Although I've never purchased anything
directly from Motion Sound, I've found John Fisher to be very accomodating
in helping w/tech mods to his company's gear.
