If HS did release a single manual version it would clean up.... even with standard triggering. Does anyone know how midi works on the new B3. Do you get a sampled click when driven by another keyboard?
I've heard the new DeFrancesco recording (voc album with Joe Doggs- Falling in love again) on the new B3 and it sounds amazing... the only problems being with the leslie 122XB. I think the 122XB has a HF driver that makes the click too toppy... sort of like a B3 played thru a PA speaker. This was never a problem with the XB3 (the organ initially used by the 122XB) since the click HF seemed filtered out. One thing I did notice (I think .. it could be the leslie HF driver) and it happens with my XB3 as well, is that when all draw bars are out, the lower drawbar sound is robbed of volume and the sound becomes shrill and lacking in bottom end. I rarely pull the upper drawbars beyond 5 on the XB. This seems to give the same balance as a real B3. .... thoughts anyone?

David:
Is your rumour inconsistent with the sound-on-sound review of the New B3 that said that HS people have reported that the key mechanism requires a depth that makes a one manual model unlikely?
