Subject:Pedal Volume Control
Haven't had any problems with my Roland EV5 pedal.
Seems reasonably robust. (Somewhat naughtily I often yank it by the cable
when packing up because I can't be bothered bending over... no problems
yet....)
Has never flipped over. Does not move around.
I use it with a Roland PCR board and B4 and agree that the 'control curve'
is not what I'm used to on my Hammond and other organs.
Has anyone ever seen a VSTi plug in for volume control ?
I imagine if one exists it would have a modifyable 'curve' and end points
and solve many of our problems.
(I'm visualising using the pedal with existing controller to send midi codes
to drive the VSTi 'volume contol'. This way I could put it in the chain in
the correct place before reverb, leslie sim and other stuff.....)
Regards,
Claire
