Hi, iv'e been gigging with a CX3->Speakeasy->860 for about a year and
i love the sound. I use another preamp in front of the Speakeasy, a
DBX mini pre. This boosts the signal into the Speakeasy and gives the
sound more grunt. I always use Preamp setting on the CX3 as the amp
simulation colours the tone and makes the shrill/weak high end
problems worse. The Barker Speakeasy might well be worth considering.
