Yes,
This would have been considered a clone in its heyday. I owned one
and loved it. I also coupled it with one of the first sims the
Multivox Little David. This combo, run through a board and PA was
indiscernable from the "Classic Hammond Sound".
This was not a light keyboard, however. I remember it being almost
as heavy as two-thirds my Rhodes 73 which succeeded it.
The only thing it was lacking was the Hammond Chorus, but I seem to
remember it had a vibrato which I never used.
It did have a full set of 9 drawbars plus percussion amount and
decay.
I actually looked for one on E-bay before deciding on the B4 - I
think most of these pretty much went the way of Avalon (faded into
the mists for those who don't know what Avalon was).
I'm surprised to hear someone actually bring this great vintage
combo organ up!
