Subject:CX-3 (on the verge of pulling the trigger)

My wife has wanted a clonewheel for a while. She plays a Korg N1 or
N1R for her main sounds. We have an EMU for secondary stuff and it
frankly neither get her there either because of the weighted keys on
the N1 (not good for organ) or the EMU's navigation and lack of actual
organ drawbers etc.

SO, we have been looking. She played the VK-8, the XK-2 and the CX-3.
Of all of them, the CX-3 seems to be the choice for standalone,
though the XK-2 was very good too.

Is there a way to edit the patches on the fly with the drawbars like
you can on the XK-2? All the drawbars are live even on recalled
progams. Are the keys of the newest CX-3 actual waterfall or are the
ones we saw (slight lip) the "new waterfall" keybed they reference in
the brochure?

BTW, she played one of the NEW B3 Hammonds with Leslie cab...hehe $27K
or something. It was very cool but...no room for that in the house or
the budget.

Thanks for any input you might have.

Tom
