Dear list,

The idea of using the latching Boss footswitch with LED as a hand-trigger for
the Rotosphere Leslie works like a dream! The switch has the right amount of
resistance, and doesn't impale your hand like a stigmata punch-press.

So I chalk this up as yet another great idea I got from the list--thanks!

(N. B. Even with the correct stereo wiring, I couldn't get it to shut the
bypass on, however.)

Of course, partly because of all this good list information, I'm getting
ever closer to buying a mentally-ill amount of new gear. I've even gotten past
the WIFE APPROVAL STAGE of the situation, so you know a purchase is near!!

I wish I knew more about the road reliability of the Key 5. Also, the horror
stories of small defects and problems with the Nord Electro coupled with
stories of Nord's tardy customer support makes me hesitant about the Nord. At
least what I have now works reliably, even though it has an extremely limited
range of sound possibilities.

I spent some time in the archive but couldn't find any report by someone who
has A/Bd the Key 5 with the other usual suspects.
