Subject:Elka X-50 does not work

Hi there,

I hope anybody here can help me with my problem. Today I received an
Elka X-50. After attaching all the cables I switched the power-switch
... and it didn't work. The bulb in the switch stays dark and nothing
else happens.
I used another cable, but it didn't help.

I thought it could be the fuse, but it looks okay and doesn't make any
noise when shaken. Nevertheless I'm gonna get a new one tomorrow.

But can anybody help me? What could I try?
