I've used my Rotosphere with V5 cranked for over 5 years with no problems.

I use 2 separate Boss latching footswitches with led status indicators Y'd
together... one for hand and one for foot. The mono male 1/4" plug of the Y
gets inserted half way into the footpedal jack (it's an RTS jack that can accept
a single 2 button switch... one button for bypass, and the other for speed
switching... I only use speed switching)
When both Boss switches are on, it does fast speed. With one or the other
off, it's on slow

I've opened it up to change the tube... you need to remove the screws from
the end plates, and the nuts from the jacks in the back, then slide the circuit
boards out the side.
