Subject:Carvin (was Barbetta VS Pro-145)
The Pro-145 is a real organ/piano amp and would sound great - but at
more than twice the price and weight (ouch) of the Barbetta, which
wouldn't be my choice either. If not having an actual physical
rotary speaker doesn't matter to you (per the Barbetta), i.e., you
like your organ's rotary simulation: Try a pair of Carvin KB100's for
stereo sound at $399 each (good keyboard amps). Stereo will make
your organ's rotary simulation far more realistic, plus greatly
improve piano/synth sounds. Two of these will boost your available
volume equal to almost any mono amp. Carvin also has a 1000 watt
rack-mount, multi-channel plus extension outlets keyboard amp (all-
purpose), the KB1000 ->available mounted in a 2x10 enclosure, the
KB1010 at $799. Go to carvin.com, click on Pro Sound, scroll down
and click on Keyboard Amps which shows these three items with More
Info buttons for specs.
