Subject:Re: Behringer MIC100 tube preamp / B4 setup
Hmm, that didn't seem to give me much volume. I'm going to give it another shot this coming week; right now my gear is in a truck on its way to Boulder, CO.
I reformatted my hard drive, took out all unnecessary peripherals, loaded DirectX 8.1, and then installed the newest kx drivers. Success!
The B4 is working fine, but i am curious, what are your audio settings? When i set it to 512, I get a little noise, but it feels like very little latency, if any at all. I move it up to 640 and the noise goes away, but I do feel a very slight delay.
I also figured out how to get the B4 to start up when I boot the PC. I picked up the Behringer mic pre-amp for $40 at my local music store, so I'm anxious to see how it works.

At this point ALL of my sounds come from the PC, so im not using a
mixer or anything. Im hooked up right from sound cards 1/8th stereo
jack right to my Peavey KB300 using a 1/8th stereo to L/R 1/4
adapter. I dont have the live drive.
