I thought of that, that the settings may have been tweaked on the CX. Will
check that out again. I thought i did try to undo any tweaks on the CX.
However the triggering issue and the sound at first play of the CX was not
noticeable until I played the VK8. The EX mode I tried also but a Beast3
should be what it always was and not R2D2, in my opinion. As far as the
Leslie sim, only a real Leslie does it and I took both the CX's and the VK8's
sims with a grain of salt, thinking what would this clone sound like with a
REAL Leslie. But with the more authentic sound of the VK8, I found it was
easier to work the sim having so much real b3/leslie experience, that faking
it came easier because the sound was closer. The double trigger issue I
didn't come across on either clone, maybe its because i play organ on it and
not piano. The VK8 is also cheaper in price not that that should be the main
criteria. Will go again to GC in El Toro later and re check things out....
but off the bat and out of the box, the VK8 won the one hour fiddle- with-
it- shootout, for me.

Actually, doesn't the VK suffer from that, too? The ones I've
played in various stores were all pretty easy to double-trigger.
My biggest gripe about the VK (besides the terrible UI) is the Leslie
sim. It just doesn't do it for me. The CX-3's sim kills it, IMO.
And as far as "having" to tweak...well, everybody has a slightly
different idea of what "the sound" is to them. Not all B3's sound
the same...or even good.
