I feel that way about my VK7. I have always liked the sound of it better than the sound of the CX3's I have played at GC. I have gone back many times to retry the CX3 based on things I read in this group. It still just does not grab me. How does the sound of the VK8 compare to the sound of the VK7? The only negative for me is the lack of an LCD? I guess a Hammond B3 does not have an LCD either.
