I agree. Polyphony can be an issue. It hasn't adversely affected my
situation..... yet, anyhow. :)
If you are looking for the playing experience (as near as possible) to the
B3, I wouldn't recommend going with the S90. There are way too many better
choices out there with the terrific clones we all have. For example, smears
and glissandos get tricky on a piano-type keyboard. I think the S90 would
be worth checking out for someone that wanted good piano sound and piano
action but still needed to have decent organ sounds without resorting to an
additional module or keyboard. I don't have any inclination to getting rid
of my CX-3.
John - in regards to Hammond percussion triggering, when you get the chance,
check out the "Cool Cat" factory preset. Someone at Yamaha was definitely
doing his or her homework.
