Hey Jim....
I use a Midiman OXYGEN controller...the small little one. It has a
great feel for bass lines, IMHO. And it's nice and compact.
I use the Roland Bass and Drums Card, as well as the stand alone Bass
module they made a few years ago...depending on the configuration of
my setup for the particular night.
I run it through a Peavey Bass Amp -- forget which model, it's at our
studio -- and I get great sounding, pumping bass!
