Subject:Dual manual clones

I stopped by my old home town, Albuquerque, NM, this weekend and
visited a well known music store. They have a NOS VK-77 in stock that
I guess never sold. I had a VK7 in 1998 but got rid of it as soon as
the 2000 CX3's came out. Anyway my point is, I attempted to lift the
VK-77 just to see what it weighs. It's HEAVY kind of like a real
Rhodes. For me the beauty of the CX3 is the 38 lbs it affords. I have
a real B-3 and 2 122's in my music room. The B is an experience to
play - kind of like mounting a Harley- and it won't shake for sure
when you have to get rough. Having had two lumbar disc surgeries
however, I don't even want to think about moving my B again unless
it's moved for me. Though I'm happy for the proud papa of the new BX3,
I'm going to show up at one of your gigs at around 1:45 am when you're
wrestling the beautiful new clone into your vehicle and you've had
the organ for about 8 months. Then I'll ask you what you think.
