FLStudio 4.0 (formerly FruityLoops) early release copies used
challenge-response protection. On the bright side, they are "reasonable"
about allowing you to use multiple copies, within reason. I have three copies
installed - at the office (mostly to get the cookies set for access to their
boards), at home on my desktop machine and on my laptop, and they have
publicly stated that it is OK so long as I'm the only one using it, and only
one copy at a time.

Within three weeks it was cracked )-:

Oh, and a second license and dongle for Reaktor costs $149.
