No problem with that (-: I guess my question really is "when it asks, does it
ask at the start of a session ? or do I have to leave the CD in the machine
the entire time ?"

I am assuming the former - particularly since many folk only have one CD-ROM.
Those USB keys like Cubase, Logic, and Reaktor are using are starting to look
less hassle...

Interesting enough, I was reading from an online copy of the Reaktor manual,
that their dongle is used to modestly encrypt instrument ensembles - to
hinder interoperability with cracked copies. A lot more "interesting" use
than just "check to see that it's there".
