Transposing is for the weak anyway! :)

One of my biggest pet peeves in a band I used to be in is that the
whole set list revolved around the guitarist and the bassist tuning
down to D for part of the songs. love the guitarist i play with
now. one tuning, one pedal, one amp, play the song. whatever song
you want to play, bang, ready to go. I couldn't imagine dealing with
transposing, using a laptop and a br with in ear monitors and click
tracks - lot of people here who are more organized than me

best reason to try to learn figured bass type notation is to deal
with transposition - i wish i had used it when i was a little kid so
it was second nature, still struggle transposing melodies (since i
never have the melody in bands, doesn't matter though)
