I'm probably about half a decade more upto date than some folks, being
39: my preference is that if they can't hack a keys job with a piano
and a Hammond, I don't wanna know! My list includes:

Christine McVie (Fleetwood Mac)
- Hammond very much as a backing instrument rather than lead, but
I really dig her style
Allan Clarke (Dire Straits)
Benmont Tench (Heartbreakers)
Jon Lord (Deep Purple)
- "Pictures Of Home" off Machine Head was my wake-up call to
serious Hammond abuse
Danny Frederici (E Street Band)
David Bryan (Bon Jovi)
- the intro to "Let It Rock" on Slippery When Wet!
