Hey Albert!

Well, the case is due in today, and it is one of the
RoadReady cases which is an ATA approved traditional
type flight case with puzzle fit foam on the inside.
This particular model apparently though is made
SPECIFICALLY for the CX3, so I'm not sure if there's
any puzzle-fitting to be done here. As we all know,
this is a deeper organ that doesn't fit in the SKB
line (neither did the XK2), so my only other option
was to have one custom built. I deal with RNR Cases
exclusively in that realm (they built both my leslie
flight cases, all my keyboard cases, and were kind
enough to refoam another brand's case when I first
discovered them). But their touring grade case was 60
lbs empty, and thanks to 9/11, commercial airline
regulations limit you to 75 lbs (although you can
squeak by with a good attitude). So that wasnt an
option for me here. This RoadReady Case also has
wheels ala the SKB set-up. I'll let you know when I
get it how it measures up. (as for the XK2, I bought
their "flight case", which was the cheeziest excuse
for a flight case I'd ever seen...made by FibreCases;
Needless to say, I would never trust an airline
baggage handler with that case. It was light
however.)

I did follow the clonewheel group's advice and had
SHayes at Speakeasy make a MS-specific preamp. I
should see that soon.

I'll keep tweakin!
