I think Vai had his Carvin onstage during the duel with Machhio. Best way is
to get the video and check. Its worth it from the music/equipment standpoint
at least. Macchio sports a hipslinging Pignose. I saw Zappa in Lincoln Neb.
but that was way before Carvin had any guitar amps to speak of.
