Subject:Re: nord electro question

I've never owned or regularily used one of the newer 'waterfall' key clones.
But my first impressions with the XK2 and with the Electro was that the
action was a little hard to play compared with B3 or synth keys. (I don't
like most weighted action keys for playing 'piano' either - they just don't
feel natural to me). Again, this could be all to do with what I'm used to.
When I demo'd the Nord - i particularily found the clav hard to play with
that kind of action - but I also had problems with the kind of organ tricks
you're talking about as well as fast runs. My favourite action on any synth
keyboard i've ever tried was the Roland A70. That's one your fingers could
zip around for hours without getting tired....
