My personal approach to all this is you get what you pay for. Buy
inexpensive gear (Peavey, Carvin, Crate etc., etc, etc.,) and that's the
sound you will get - inexpensive. Invest in high quality gear and you are
rewarded by an exponential increase in great audio.
