Hey...if you can't get it the way you want, look back
to a couple of my previous postings. Building a 122
into a Model 25 (also known as Orpheous) leslie is a
real way to go. You can get the Model 25 leslies from
most any organ repair guy for $50 (US) and the
furniture will be in mint condition: It's just that
the leslie mechanisms in that box are undesirable.
Then change the amp, build that shelf up top and put
in the motor/rotor assembly and cut a louvre on all
three sides and you're good to go. If you're not that
handy, you can get any decent Hammond repairman to set
up up with that rig for under $900.00. And that would
be all new Leslie parts (including tube 122
amplifier). You will not be disappointed. It is
manageable with one person (I get it in and out of my
van no problem). The only time I need help with it is
carrying it up a flight of stairs.
