I had tried the Nord Electro when it came out. While
it was OK sounding to me, again, my subjective opinion
felt it just wasnt right...or at least not right
enough. I didn't like the button/drawbar substitute,
but I can see how you could get used to it. I really
didn't like the Wurli or clav sounds (especially as I
play both of those). But what I DID like was the way
it felt. Regardless of its weight (and it is a
lightweight, a real pleasure that!), its keyboard felt
phenomenal. I recently heard a fellow boardist using
2 of them through a Hamptone pre into a 147, and they
sounded truly great.
