Subject:Hamptone Leslie Motor controller

Has anybody ever use a Hamptone dual speed leslie motor controller?

I'm assuming it works by pulsing the fast motor and using the
mechanics of the leslie rotor to "average" out to a slow speed
rotation.

I'm curious as to how noticable the pulsing is when compared with a
stock slow speed motor.
