Pete, nothing beats a leslie!
It depends what needs you have...
I too use a VK-7 and think it's a great keyboard!
I have tweaked my leslie sim settings (which you'll find in the archives) cause it's difficult for me to bring my leslies with me. When I use my 760 I must give up distortion (apart from the leslie's natural distortion) otherwise I use my Lombardi leslie (which has line inputs) so I can use all my settings (ofcourse I put the brake on the internal leslie).

I'll be happy to answer any other questions you may have on this keyboard and I hope I can answer you!

Cheers,

Roger

I'm relatively new in the amplifying of keyboard clones. Do you
fellows in the clonewheel group have any preferences in sonics for a
Korg CX-3 or a Roland VK-7 (or VK-8)? Some players use PA's, and
some use leslies. Any input will be apprediated.
