Hi Eric,
I agree with you on the EX Mode sounds. I haven't really had the time to
research how the 18 drawbars exactly work in that mode. I usually leave the
"B Leakn'" sound set up on the EX preset select button and use it from time
to time throughout the night for variety. I also like the "BC Best Solo".
There are several others that I use but I'm at my office right now and
having a BF and can't, for the life of me, recall any of them. Part of the
problem is the fact that after I select a factory preset sound and assign it
to a number in my "A Bank" for easier access, I re-name the patch. So, I
have custom named sounds like "Smooth", "Jazz", "Whistle", "Good Loviin",
"Gimme", "Grit" and "Balls!". I also have been getting into real-time
drawbar manipulation lately. I start out with a certain registration and go
on from there.
Weeks ago, a fellow Clonehead, offered suggestions for "starting out"
drawbar setups and I tried them out. I forget the fella's name but the
suggestion for one of them, in particular was so good, that I copied it into
the "A1" slot!
This CloneWheel group has some clever users and I'm sure that you get some
terrific info in response to your inquiry. I'll get back to ya after this
weekend with the follow-up of what else has worked for me. In the
