I intially tried to simulate the expression pedal with the Ernie Ball for my VK-7. I was unsucessful because the expression pedal and volume pedal are totally differrent things. I ended up just getting the exp pedal recommended by Roland. What a world of difference. Sometimes, there are no good substitutions.
