Subject:BX3/CX3 vibrato

I'm sure this will open up an excited round of posts BUT...
I'm really not happy with the vibrato on the BX3. Especially the
chorus vibratos. In a word it SUCKS.
I didn't care for the vibrato on the VK7 either.
I alos don't care for the HS products at all but I did like their
vibrato because it was somewhat programable.
I realize the vibrato on the Korg is not adjustable so I'm wondering
what other folks on the list have done with respect to vibrato. Love
it or leave it?
I used it last Sunday and when I switched on the chorus the sound guy
made a funny face. It sounded almost like a really cheesy ball park
organ. So, I don't use it. I used it on the B3 mainly to boost the
888000008 settings when the Leslie was on tremolo. As a rule the
stuff I play these days doesn't require vibrato or chorus. The B4
chorus is the closest I've heard on a clone to the real deal.
I wonder if there is a fix available? Probably not, I'd guess. I've
also thought of throwing an old Yamaha digital delay into the mix on
one of the stereo split settings to get that nice tight chorus.
I can see it all now. Buy a clone and add three or four racks full
of gear to get it to sound right.
Where does it end?
Sell it all and carry a B3!!!
Chuck
